MSI Releases Their NUC-like Cubi 5 with Comet Lake

We just learned about Intels NUC10 models this week and it seems MSI plans to beat Intel to market with their Cubi 5. Specifications seem very similar, but there are some novelties here – for example the remote power button. No news about the specific CPUs being used yet…

Published specifications of the Cubi 5:

  • Windows 10 Home – MSI recommends Windows 10 Pro
  • 2x DDR4 2666MHz SO-DIMMs, up to 64GB
  • Up to 10th Gen. Intel Core i7 U-Processor
  • Supports Wifi 6
  • Equipped with USB 3.2 Gen1 type C
  • Maximum to 1 x M.2 SSD and 1 x 2.5” SSD/HDD
  • Supports Dual monitors
  • Supports standard VESA-mount

MSI says: The Cubi 5 is designed to support an external power switch. This proves to be especially efficient for users that choose to mount the Cubi 5 or visually conceal it. The external power switch saves our users a lot of back bending by being more reachable. *Power switch is not included*
